mpo-jeremiah-goodsonLUMBERTON – Jeremiah M. Goodson Jr., 32, of Lumberton passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012, in Southeastern Regional Medical Center. Jeremiah made the ultimate sacrifice to protect and serve our community. Officer Goodson was escorted to his final resting place by horse and carriage procession down Fayetteville Road to Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton He is survived by his wife, Lametria Goodson; son, Tyrin Hueston; daughter, Jurnee Goodson; his unborn son, Josiah Goodson; mother, Bettie Goodson; father, Jerry Goodson; sister, Isis Goodson; and brother, Joshua Goodson.



19418JACKSONVILLE – Steve “Bam Bam” Christopher Boehm, 36, of Jacksonville died June 14, 2008.
Steve worked with the Onslow County Sheriff’s Department for 10 years. During his tenure he was a patrol deputy, corrections officer and a resource officer for White Oak High School and Dixon Middle School. He also was the junior varsity football coach for White Oak High School and had been the varsity coach. Steve graduated from White Oak High School in 1990. He served in the U.S. Army for eight years and was part of the military police. He is survived by his wife, Kim Lawrence; a son, Daniel Lawrence of the home; daughters, Crystal, Sam, and Tiffany Lawrence, all of the home; and a brother, Dennis Boehm of Jacksonville.
